Michael Fasulo

Mike Fasulo is President and COO of Sony Electronics (SEL), overseeing the electronics business of Sony Corporation in North America.

He joined Sony in 1984 as a junior financial analyst, serving in several positions and disciplines throughout his tenure, including all levels of management.  Previously while serving as president of Sony’s Media Solutions Company, Mike was responsible for a successful turnaround of the business. As president of e-Solutions LLC, he was responsible for the creation and launch of a new online and retail store business startup, Sony Style.

As Chief Marketing Officer, he drove the first-ever SEL integrated marketing campaign unifying One Sony. More recently, as executive vice president of Sales, Mike led the Transformation of SEL’s commercial investment program which saved hundreds of millions of dollars and revolutionized the Sales Organization to a consumer focused execution team.  In his current role, he is transforming Sony’s North America Electronics business into a sustainable, competitive and profitable business.

Fasulo has expansive experience in all facets of leadership and business fundamentals, including P&L management, marketing, strategic planning, relationship management, coaching, mentoring and delivering results. He possesses managerial courage, a proven track record of “performing under the gun,” and has an unwavering passion for people, family, and business.

Mike is currently active as a CEA Executive Board Member, on the board of The Digital Entertainment Group (DEG) and a National Trustee of the Boys and Girls Club of America where he participates in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math) and co-chairs the Military Youth of the Year program, to name a few. Mike has also served on numerous industry advisory boards including, Mplanet, The American Marketing Association and The Marketing Leadership Council. In addition, Mike is the recipient of the 2008 Customer Champion Industry Award, and was honored with the Torch of Liberty award at the 2014 Anti-Defamation League annual technology dinner for his community services.

Mike believes in diversity, equality and education and earned his undergraduate degree from Glassboro State then continued his executive education at programs at IMD, Switzerland; UCLA Anderson School of Business; the University of Michigan; and Columbia Executive Business School.

Fasulo and his wife Pat have three children; Samantha, Christopher and Jennifer.
