Sony to Release Firmware Update to HT-ST5000 Sound Bar

Firmware update will enable the HT-ST5000 Sound Bar to support Dolby™, DTS:X®,

DTS-HD Master Audio™, DTS Digital Surround™ and Dolby™ Vision Compatible.

 WHAT:                San Diego, September 27, 2017 – Today, Sony Electronics has released a firmware update to the Sony HT-ST5000 7.1.2ch 800W Dolby™ Atmos® Sound Bar to support DTS’ latest Immersive Audio Format. The firmware updated also includes support for DTS HDMA and legacy DTS. Updated firmware will be available by the end of September 2017.
