Will there be a 4G + WiFi available for the US Market?

I could not really get a clear answer from this…

Patrick says “Obviously Wi-Fi, can’t have a tablet without Wi-Fi, I haven’t heard you say anything about 3G/4G…”

TG responds “We will have a Wi-Fi version of the tablet available for the US Market.”

Did he mean to say a Wi-Fi only version?

These days Sony is becoming a threat for all big competitors like LG,SAMSUNG,APPLE,but having world’s thinnest 10.1 “ tablet with having a Reality Display, NFC functions, and more is really gone put its rivals to think of bringing back a good one.

What universal remote software will be included with the “Z”? I first fell in love with the “S” version and talked my father into purchasing it due to the fact that he has so many remotes for his equipment and for the price he was going to pay for a harmony remote he could add a little more and also have a tablet. He ended up purchasing the “S” but I ended up going with a different manufacture that also has a tablet that functions as a universal remote, has a pen, and is 10.1 inches. Since we are in different states I just could not go to his home and help him program the macros, which ended up being the only way for him to get full functionality out of his unit. My tablet took all of five minutes to program the tv, dvd, and u-verse box. We are always upgrading to the latest hardware but as he is getting older his patience is growing shorter and trying to walk him through processes over a phone is not a walk in the park ……PLEASE make your universal remote software more elderly friendly or look into switching to maybe “peel”.

Hi Reema, no, Xperia Tablet Z will not have a flash player as the mobile platform is migrating to HTML5. And yes – you can view Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel via OfficeSuite. Hope that helps!

Is there an alternative to watch videos that requires flash player?

Android supports HTML5 video playback, which works with a majority of videos on the web. Unfortunately we don’t have anything that can work around watching a video which requires flash player.
