My New Year’s resolution for 2013 was to get on my fitness game. Well, now that it’s February, I figure I should probably get started.
I’m not looking to lose weight. I just want to get stronger and healthier, but the thought of going to a gym is kind of a turn off. So I figured out another way to get in shape.
Have you guys heard of Fitbit? It helps you get active, eat better, manage your weight, and sleep better through it’s wireless trackers and wireless Smart Scale. Turns out I can pair my Fitbit One with Sony products and get an awesome workout at home. I use my Fitbit One while on the treadmill and it records my workout.
One of the things I really enjoy about my Fitbit is that it has a dashboard that lets me track anything I want to track. So I can see how many workouts I’ve done, how many calories I’ve burned, even how many steps I’ve walked. And all of this info is accessible via my Xperia Tablet, smartphone or Blu-ray Disc Player.
I also use Fitbit’s Aria Smart Scale to monitor my weight, % body fat and BMI. So far, so good. Now I just have to do this on the regular.
The Fitbit One slips into a wrist band and tracks your sleep pattern to determine how long you sleep and how well you sleep. You’ll soon find out if your mattress is the thing keeping you up all night or that late night coffee needs to be cut out of your routine.
