Five best back-to-school apps for Xperia Tablet S

by Kathleen 10/15/2012

The days of summer are gone and fall is upon us. And that means school is officially in session.

I remember what it was like to be a student – piles of reading, endless papers, internships, extracurricular activities, the whole sha-bang … It’s not easy keeping all of that organized and under control. Lucky for all you students out there, Google Play™ offers tons of apps (that you can download on your Xperia ™ Tablet)  to help you do just that. Check them out.

Evernote

Evernote makes note-taking easy. With Evernote, you can supplement your written notes with color photos, audio clips, and web pages. When it’s time to study, your notes—in rich multimedia—are right there on your Xperia™ Tablet.

Box

Box lets you view and share big files. Your hard-drive in the cloud, Box lets you access your files—anywhere, with any device. You can even collaborate and comment on projects with your classmates.

Studious

Toss your planner, calendar, and coffee-stained class schedule and replace them with Studious. This app keeps track of all your classes and homework assignments. And it saves notes with text and photos. It’s like having your own personal assistant—for free.

CamScanner HD

CamScanner HD transforms your tablet instantly into a hand-held digital scanner. Scan class notes, homework, whiteboards, anything—and turn them into easy-to-share PDFs.

Splashtop remote for Sony Tablet

No matter where you go on campus, you can use Splashtop to gain complete access to your computer. It’s the only remote desktop app that streams your entire desktop to your tablet with smooth, high-res video and audio.

If you guys try these apps out, tell us what you think in the comments. Or if you know of any apps that should be included in this roundup, let us know. Good luck, y’all!

I downloaded studious just the other day and let me tell you, its everything you would need in an academic app and more. Still looks like it needs a few fixes, but other than that I have been using it everyday so far this semester
