Sony Gears Up and Geeks Out for Comic-Con

by Reena 07/11/2012
Sing it with me now: “It’s the most wonderful time of the year!”
No, I’m not talking about the holidays, I’m talking about Comic Con. Each year it gets more jam- packed with both people and pop culture goodness. This year is no exception.
We’ll be at the Sony Online Entertainment booth #4436. Stop by to try out  sweet Sony gear like the Personal 3D Viewer, which will be connected to DC Universe Online. This is the closest you’ll get to being Batman, Superman, etc without cosplay. You can also enter for a chance to win a free San Diego Seal Boat tour on Friday or Saturday after the show.

For you pop culture fanatics out there, our friends at Sony Pictures will be going all out once again. If you make it into the coveted Hall H on Friday, July 13, make sure you stay until 4 p.m. for Sony Pictures’ films Resident Evil: Retribution, Total Recall, Looper, and Elysium. There will also be panels for Sony Pictures Television’s Breaking Bad (Friday, July 13, at 6:45 p.m. PST in Ballroom 20) and Community (10 a.m., Friday, July 13 in Ballroom 20). Both casts will be stopping by the Sony Pictures booth afterward for an autograph signing (Community right after their panel and Breaking Bad at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 14th).

Exhausted after running from panel to panel across the San Diego Convention Center? Hop on one of our complimentary Seal Boat shuttles. Relax, read some The Walking Dead comics on the Sony Tablet™ S while we give you a ride to your hotel. The Seal Boats will run between the Manchester Grand Hyatt at Market Place and the Hilton San Diego Bayfront, stopping in front of the Convention Center during normal Comic Con show hours. See route below:
