by Maya 04/29/2012

Attention developers! We are searching for the next great Sony Tablet™ S Cradle app. Do you have what it takes? Our Sony Tablet S Cradle app competition starts today.

Submit an innovative app that works with the Sony Tablet S Cradle and you can win a Sony prize pack. In addition, Sony will promote the winning apps through our app recommendation site, Select App.

What’s a Sony Tablet S Cradle App, you ask? We’re talking about apps that automatically launch when the Sony Tablet S is placed on Sony Tablet S Cradle and are optimized for use with the accessory.

To get started, learn how an app works with Sony Tablet S Cradle from featured developers’ apps on Select App. You can find further information about Sony Tablet S here and Sony Tablet S Cradle here.

Submissions start today and will be taken through June 7th at 11:59 pm, at which point your app must be live in Google Play.

Ready to do this? Go to Sony Developer Network and download the technical specs for Sony Tablet S Cradle support. Develop your best app idea and submit it to the Sony Developer Network and upload the app to Google Play.

Winning apps developers will receive a $1,000 Sony Gift Card, a Sony Tablet S and a Sony Tablet S Cradle. The winning apps will also be promoted on the Select App Site.**

Hi the app that would knock all the current competition, would be a streaming media app FROM PS3 to the tablet S. this would enable me to view all program’s “live” or recorded from Play TV and access any music or pictures saved on PS3 anywhere within the home or potentially anywhere.
