Sony Opens the House

by Team Sony 03/03/2010

In the excitement of new digital imaging product announcements, Justin Timberlake’s William Rast fashion show and new dash app developments I didn’t get to update you on another important annual event that happened a few weeks ago.

Every year, Sony Electronics opens our doors for Sony retailers to come learn about the newest line of products after they’ve been announced at CES. It’s an event called Open House and this year we held several events around the country, including one right here at Sony Electronics headquarters in San Diego.

Over 500 dealers were welcomed in San Diego by a team of Sony product specialists, trainers and executives ready to explain, educate and give dealers a chance to test drive innovations like 3D TV, dash and Reader. In the video below you get a firsthand look at Open House in San Diego from Vice President of Consumer Sales at Sony Electronics, Michael Woulfe.

Nice video, wish there was more footage of the Dash in action. Glad to see Sony embracing the internet content though, and definitely going to keep an eye on the 3D technology :)

Sony has the worst electronics i have ever delt with to include the PS3 it has done nothing but freeze up every 30 Min when i try to play any one of the 65.00 games i have bought for this not to mention the 60in TV i threw away because the damn thing looked worse than my old school plasma tv. i have to say ever sence i’ve gotten anything with the sony name on it, it has done nothing but be a pain to me and my family. i on orders in VA on Marine Corps Base Quantico and i have expressed my concern to all of my fellow Marines thier about the poor quality these people have put out and have talked many Marines out of a Sony purchase because of the quality given. i will do my best to continue turning not only Marines away from Sony’s products but also the Civilians that i know as well. Hopefully this will caution the rest of you about trying these products. And if Sony has any better options for me yall have my email address
