If you’ve watched recent commercials or checked out “light painting” photos on Flickr, you may have come across a beauty of photos with neon looking designs; some even with spelled out words. That’s not the work of a fancy web designer. All you need is your camera, a tripod, some flashlights or glow sticks and some help from Mother Nature at night.

This video, created with the help of our friends at Photojojo shows you just how to create your own light streaking materpiece. We asked our pals at the infamous DIY photo site to show photo fans of all levels creative ways to use their cameras in a series of videos. Their latest video is a step by step instructional on light painting.
