Moms Take LA

by Team Sony 09/11/2009

Sony is once again teaming up with mommy bloggers by hosting a three day event in Los Angeles.  A small group of high profile mom bloggers arrived yesterday and are learning the ins and outs of Sony’s digital imaging products.  From our DSLR Alpha line to our Cybershots and Handycam camcorders, we’re giving these moms hands-on training from the experts.  Even professional photographer Me Ra Koh will be on deck to discuss tips and tricks on how to get the best shot.

To test out their new skills with the products, we’ve also partnered with our sister teams at Sony Pictures Home Entertainment and Sony Pictures Animation to provide these women, who traveled near and far to be with us, unique opportunities only a company like Sony can.  Thanks to them, we’ll be allowing our guests behind-the-scenes access on the Sony Pictures lot and a chance to attend the red carpet movie premier of “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs.”  And of course, we’re throwing in some surprises along the way.  How’s that for VIP treatment?

And just for some background, Sony has paid for the moms to come to LA and we’ve told them to blog about their experience in any way they like…the good and the bad.  To find out what they’re saying about the event, follow the moms on their sites below:

    Marcy,

I think that it is great to have some high tech moms get a first glance and hands-on training on these products. I suspect that it will help them and others use your products more over time. However, I have had a less than happy experience and would ask that you contact me directly via email and we can set a time to have a phone conversation. I will spare you the details for now, but I attempted to send you a message through the Sony Network, but I suspect that it did not go through. Thanks for your help and quick response.

    Craig.
