Sony is continuously looking for ways to better communicate with consumers. With that in mind, we’ve just launched two new community sites: one dedicated to all things VAIO and the other on sonystyle.com.
The VAIO community will offer an inside glimpse into what we do and provide a behind-the-scenes look at the design and manufacturing process, the technology behind our products, our latest TV commercials and VAIO events. We’ll also use this space to keep you updated on all the latest VAIO news and announcements.
On this community, we’re also dipping our collective toe into forums in an attempt to provide a Sony sponsored place for you to talk to each other about your likes, dislikes, questions and service issues regarding VAIO.
Need some encouragement to get involved? OK. We’ll give away a VAIO P series notebook to a randomly selected person who fills out a profile on the VAIO community or on the Sony Electronics Community.
Moving to the sonstyle.com community, this is blog is about connecting people to Sony products. We want to hear about your shopping experiences, but also your thoughts once you own a Sony product. The blog will feature a broad spectrum of perspective: From “Flashback Fridays,” which take a look at Sony ads from the past, to “A Customer’s Take” which offers opinions from our most active reviewers on sonystyle.com, we’ll be keeping it cool and relevant.
We’ve made sure that there is single sign on for all of our communities and your profile will track your activity on any of these sites. These new communities — as well as our existing communities — can all be accessed through the communities icon on our corporate community site at www.sonyelectronicscommunity.com.
So I invite all of you to check out these two new communities and tell us what you think. Are they worth your time and energy? What works? What doesn’t?
