If you’re a developer, like cruising websites, or just enjoy reading interesting articles, you might have run across Smashing Magazine. Known for their go-to info on all things “website”, the editors recently scoured the internet for the 35 most beautiful shopping websites. We’re honored that we were named next to some pretty amazing brands but also next to some pretty kickin small shop websites (some will now burn an even larger hole in my pockets). UK Blogger “Design Shack” also recently listed SonyStyle.com in their article “20 Gorgeous Examples of E-Commerce Done Right”.
Now of course I have to say with the good comes the constructive. Our website iterations are based on gathering feedback from a variety of sources, one being this blog. It’s good for us to get a pulse on things and as much as we’re celebrating this recognition, we also want to make sure that our stomachs don’t hurt from too much ice cream. Meaning: We always want to make the site better.
Our creative team thought it would be a good opportunity to hear what you think about our site design. The good and the bad. Why? Well, we think it’s pretty cool that someone listed us as a great site to check out but we know that this comes from hard work and from listening to and responding to feedback from our customers and loyal blog readers. The sonystyle website is probably one of the nicest websites i have been on. It’s obvious that sony puts more time in their website design compared to other leading electronics companies! Good job sony, you all deserve the award.

I love using the Sony Style website! It is awesome and most often very easy to navigate. The only thing that I noticed that has changed in the last little while, is that the link for the Price Assurance policy is no longer there. It was there for Thanksgiving, but Christmas rolled around and it was gone. Is there any way to get this back on the website, so it is visible and easy to find? Also what about the return policy. I know it is 30 days,now, but there are alot of people out there who don’t and they get disappointed when they want to return a product, and lo and behold, they are beyond the return policy that they weren’t aware of.
Other than that, the website rocks! Congrats on being one of the most beautiful, and thanks for giving us the opportunity to give feedback Gina.
