PARK RIDGE, N.J., Feb. 1, 2013 – Sony professional high-definition cameras will be used by NEP Broadcasting, the production facilities provider supporting this weekend’s broadcast of the championship game between the San Francisco 49ers and the Baltimore Ravens.
NEP Broadcasting will provide several trailers for pre- and post-game, main game and the half-time show. The Sony cameras used by NEP for the main CBS broadcast in the United States includes nearly 30 of the HDC-1500 and HDC-2500 multi-format cameras, which will be positioned throughout the stadium. In addition, a Sony MVS-8000 production switcher will also be used to deliver the broadcast.

This is the eighth consecutive year that Sony has provided its professional HD equipment for the big game.
