Sony powers Jimmy Kimmel Live concert series: Sony Electronics announced the launch of a year-long relationship as the official concert series partner of the ABC late night hit, Jimmy Kimmel Live, which airs at 11:35 p.m.PT. Sony will showcase new products in the Jimmy Kimmel Live show with multiple custom integrations, and integrate its technology into the new indoor and outdoor Sony Stages, which will house a total of 146 concerts during the relationship. Fans will be able to use Sony digital imaging products to film the concert from the crowd, creating the first ever crowd-sourced videos of the show that will be posted on the newly launched Jimmy Kimmel Live Music YouTube Channel. Sony NEX gear inspires Flickering Lights by HitRECord: This past fall, Sony partnered with Joseph Gordon Levitt’s HitRECord, an online hub where creative minds come together to make art, videos, music and anything else they can imagine. Since technology plays a large role in the production process, Sony provided the community with the latest Sony Alpha NEX gear to inspire content focused on the theme of Flickering Lights.
