Yes it’s that time of year again, the fantasy football competitions at the office are starting to take shape and at home football fans are getting ready to get their game on. Remember, high speed internet and HDMI cables are also important to have for the best viewing experience.
These sets offer outstanding contrast with smooth, vibrant images and a picture quality that is great even in brightly lit rooms. If you’re in the market for a television, make sure to see how the 3D looks in a well lit room.
In addition to quality 3D the NX810 sets have built in Wi-Fi and access to Sony’s movie service called Qriocity so you can stream movies and have access to tons of content for free and with a fee for premium content. (fee may be required for premium content).

Pros:
Picture Quality, build in wireless, neflix and youtube widgets.
Cons:
Yahoo widgets: Current flaw is lack of responsiveness, painfully slow on yahoo snippets, times never worked, circle just keep turning at upper right hand corner.
Single USB port. Would be happy with at least two USB ports
Unable to play MPEG files, AVI, or SVCD video files via USB – video file cannot be played msg.
Remote: Home button is too close to down arrow button, you end up clicking home instead of down arrow.
Hopefully firmware update sometime in the future should resolve these issues. Overall happy with the purchase.

questions to sony i brought a Sony 3DTV almost 2 month ago and i have been looking for some 3d context to watch on my 3DTV there is two stupid anime Movies out in 3D and nothing else out in 3d i cant show off my 3DTV to my friends and family because theres nothing in 3d to show, where can i find some preview or demo in 3D to play on my 3DTV

The 710 and 810 TVs were launched in Asia Pacific region in Aug/Sept during Commex 2010 in Singapore. Unfortunately as we are heading into Oct, the TVs are still not available in the retail shops in Singapore or outside and the news from Sony personnel is that only the lower-end 710 will be available shortly.
Incidentally, during Commex event, Sony offered the TVs (limited nos) along with goodies like a free Playstation, 3D goggles, 3D movie titles..etc. However, the sets were supposed to be sold out the moment the show opened on teh very first day and no one knows what happened! Makes one wonder of it was genuinely sold or was it an inside job or just a mktg stunt?
Well, while competitor brands are almost half the price, to be farir to its loyal customers, Sony must launch the products in retail along with some early bird offers. That will perhaps the justify the super-premium pricing for these 2D models that are ‘3D capable’ provided you spend even more and make a bigger hole in your pocket.
