Things Are Looking Up: Sony’s new, collaborative Tumblr

by Jen 09/17/2013, in Contact the Blog

Life can move fast; we sometimes forget to stop, take a minute and enjoy our surroundings. This concept is what inspired us to capture that pause moment – what we see when we look up. Hence, Sony’s Tumblr, “Things Are Looking Up”, was born.

What should you expect to see on our Tumblr? Only the most unique and interesting perspective shots from the Sony team, our talented Artisans of Imagery, and our awesome community. From towering buildings and ornate ceilings to intricately-woven spiderwebs and even giraffe snouts, almost anything goes! The goal is simply to showcase a different way of looking at things.

To kick things off, we challenged our Sony Flickr Camera Club members to look up. Check out our top five favorites below.

Visit our Tumblr today for more photographic inspiration. Also, see the “Submissions” section on the left-hand side of our page? Take advantage of it! We would love to feature your photos. It doesn’t matter what camera you rep as long as your picture aligns with the theme.

Happy Tumbling/shooting, and remember to look up! What you find just might surprise you.
