    What’s with curved TVs? I don’t get it. I imagine that if you’re not in the ‘sweet spot’ the picture is going to look weird, distorted… like, dare I say, a CRT TV.

      Hi James, actually, it’s quite the opposite. The Sony S990A was carefully engineered to increase the sweet spot in which you can watch the TV. The slight curve of the screen improves off-axis viewing by widening the viewing angle, meaning there’s not a bad seat in the house.
