My Note 3 will not connect with the qx100. I found a work around but it still disconnects. It does fit on the phone. I want it to connect by NFC Not Wifi When is Sony going to have the update is my question. It can’t be that big a deal. good luck e
Here is the fix to stop the QX100 from disconnecting as often with your android 4.3 smartphone:

    1. Go to Settings
    2. Select Wi-Fi
    3. Long press on the DIRECT-XXXX:smileyvery-happy:SC-QX100
    4. Select Modify network config
    5. Click on Show advanced options
    6. Make the following changes:
    Proxy settings: None
    IP Settings: Static
    IP address:
    Network prefix length: 24
    DNS 1:

I just ordered my qx100 to go with my new z1s, and just read about an app for the smartwatch2 that will act as viewfinder and shutter release for the zs1. Can i then use the smartwatch2 to see and snap pix on the Qx100?

I got the dsc-qx100 a month ago and although I am very happy with the quality I am frustrated that it will not connect to my iPhone 4S. It connects to my ipad and my wife’s iPhone in seconds, which is even more frustrating.

I tried uninstalling, forgetting network, restarting… everything I could think of.

    Any suggestions?

    Thank you,

      Hi Mike,
Have you updated the new firmware? Try that and let us know if that helps.
