As a SEL18200lE owner, I would like to know more about the firmware update for this lens. Could you provide more info?
Your link for the SEL18200LE lens seems to be pointing back to the Blog.

The AFD works brilliantly with the SAL300F28G2. The 70-200,should now also be awesome.

    Dear all,

I have bought a NEX-3N that comes bundled with SELP1650 lens. But when taking photos at 16mm, pictures – specially people’s faces – come out stretched torward the upper corners. This definitly needs a new firmware upgrade which will be very, very useful. Is it possible to come up with a fix for this issue?

    Thanks.

It has been over a year since the last firmware upgrade for a99. While the camera works well, the number of AF-D supported lens is fall short of expectation, to say the least. IMHO, the next firmware upgrade is overdue.
