Introducing the Sony NEX-6 + New E-mount Lenses

by Reena 09/12/2012

Just when you thought the NEX line was complete, here comes the NEX-6. Happily nestled between the NEX-5R and the NEX-7, the NEX-6 has the DSLR features you love like a 16.1 megapixel APS-C sensor, up to 25600 ISO, and a built-in OLED viewfinder but still keeps its compact size with the addition of the new retractable power zoom 16-50mm f/3.5-5.6 kit lens. But that’s not all; check out SGNL’s first-hand look at the NEX-6. (Tip: special pre-order bonus at the Sony Store).

Amazing camera and I was excited to pre-order this camera in Mexico. However, Sony Mexico doesn’t reply to inquiries. Perhaps somebody from Sony USA can get in touch.

Why Sony Corp is not launching it in India? I am eagerly waiting for the product competitively priced to be launched here in India. Please make it fast or else I will get a DSLR. :~)
    Thank you

Glad you are as excited about the NEX-6 as we are. You’ll have to reach out to your local support team to see if/when the product will be available in your region. Thanks for reading!

NEX is a waste of time, additional e-mount lenses are just not available. I have been trying to get a Sel50f18 for some time now and no one seems to have it, Sony India is as unhelpful as always and keeps telling me that the lens will be available “tomorrow”.

What is the point of buying an “interchangeable” lens camera if you cannot get additional e-mount lenses?
