As you may have heard, our new Reader™ from Sony (PRS-T2) has a new Evernote® feature that we think is really cool. We know you may be asking, what exactly can I do with this new feature? The answer is, a lot! Here are just a couple ways you can use Evernote with your Reader PRS-T2.
Save web content for offline viewing
Save content from the web (blogs, articles, recipes, etc) for offline viewing on your Reader: We know Reader gives you a natural reading experience – it has a crisp screen and is incredibly portable, making it perfect to read long content on. So, say you found a recipe you love on epicurious.com, but the page is full of ads and links, and you really just want the recipe.
Now you can use Evernote Clearly to optimize the recipe to read on your Reader, without all that extra stuff.
Another click sends the clipped recipe straight to Evernote and it is automatically downloaded to your Reader, where it’s ad-free and easy to read.
Save short quotes from your books for later viewing on any mobile device
Another scenario: you are reading a really good book on your Reader and want to save some of your favorite passages. Now you can use Evernote to save passages (limit of 140 characters) with notes, and view them later in Evernote on your laptop or desktop.
It’s easy – just highlight your favorite passage:
Then, send it to Evernote and add some notes:
Now, when you go to your Evernote account on your laptop or desktop, you can see your passage and your notes there:
These are just a few useful ways you can use the new Evernote feature on Reader PRS-T2. How else will you be using it?
