New Sony Reader App comes to Android

by Team Sony 01/21/2011

Book worms sporting Android phones have a new way to access that page turner you just can’t put down with the release of Reader™ for Android™, a new mobile app for phones with Android 2.2 or higher. The app is available for free from the Android Market Place. Access and read from the collection of titles you’ve purchased from the Reader Store by Sony and browse and download new titles too.

For Reader Daily Edition PRS-950 owners, you have an added perk, the app will sync content between your Android phone and your Daily Edition. For more info on how to download the app visit the Reader Store and don’t forget to check out the Sony Reader Facebook page for more news on books and authors.

It’s disappointing that the Sony Reader app for Android won’t work with Sony’s top of the line Android phone.

This hurts me, this hurts me deeply only because I have a X10 and there is no chance I can take advantage of this app. Right now, SE is killing me.
