By now you’ve surely heard the rumors about Sony Internet TV with Google TV. You know—the first HDTV powered by the Google TV platform so you can watch TV and surf the Internet simultaneously. It’s a multitasker’s dream device.  We’re getting close to launch and to get you pumped we’re giving away 5 Sony Internet TVs to 5 lucky winners over the next 5 days.

How can you enter? Simple, you have 2 ways to participate. Send a tweet to @SonyElectronics letting us know how you multitask using media and include #sonyinternettv in the tweet.  Not on Twitter? No problem. Leave a comment to this blog post, following the same rules and you’ll be entered too.  We know 140 characters isn’t much, but be creative and feel free to use things like pictures and video.

Our panel of judges includes Chris Pirillo, Jon Rettinger and Toby Turner. They are powerhouses when it comes to creating shows online and reaching fans with their blogs. Need some inspiration on what to “Tweet”? We asked Toby Turner, AKA Tobuscus to help. Watch his video, be inspired and send us your entry! We can’t wait to begin announcing the winners! Good luck!

Now for the legal stuff. You’ll find the official rules below.

I multi-task with media by listening to my favorite music and reading my e-mails. I would love to win the Sony Internet TV so I take multitasking with media even further by watching TV and browsing the internet at the same time.

    Sony Internet TV

I media multi-task on my computer by listening to music, watching videos on YouTube, catching up on stuff on Facebook, downloading various things, and catching up on tech news at quickpwn.com. And i would love to do all that and watch TV on a TV. That would be absolutely awesome. I think that internet TV (the way Google, Sony, Logitech, and Intel did it) is great. But I don’t know because I have not tried it. I might absolutely love it or absolutely hate it but so far it sounds great.

I multitask like a crazy person. I catchup on Facebook updates while I’m writing a paper tabbing back and forth and if i get writers block I go to Facebook and chat with friends until new ideas popup. Whilst doing this the TV is on so I can follow my show just by sound. I do all of this on my laptop and I’m walking on a treadmill and the laptop is sitting on it.

I would really like to own a #sonyinternettv. This will be a revolutionary product. I believe multitasking and using the internet on other products like TV’s will be the next huge component in the Tech industry. So, how would I multi-task using media? I’ll keep it very simple for you judges. I would be watching my TV, and let’s say during the movie/episode I want to quickly go onto the internet and update my Facebook, or look up information on the movie/episode, or just modestly USE the internet for miscellaneous reasons. This Internet TV that has the capability of multitasking is phenomenal, I just hope so much that I would be given the honor to win and multi-task with this innovated, state-of-the-art TV. Isn’t it amazing how much the Technology industry (Tv’s included), has progressed and advanced?

I multitask all the time. I watch youtube, play PS3, text, watch TV, and stuff like that. It’s awesome and much more efficient that doing one thing at a time. An exception to that rule is texting and driving, which I certainly don’t do, and I always tell my friends not to as well. I hope I get the TV :)

Multitasking, God’s greatest creation for the procrastinators. Being able listen to Pandora Radio, then instantly opening the recent feed in Facebook is one of the many wonders that multitasking offers. In most days I leave Pandora Radio running in the background, pinned to Chrome, while I surf through Lifehacker or catch up on my Youtube subcribers’ videos. With a Sony Internet TV such a process would become a breeze, no more mouse needed just a remote control. Imagine waking up at the middle of the night unable to sleep. Too lazy to stand up and walk towards a computer that is miles away, you just reach over to your remote control and turn on the TV. You can go to Twitter and rant about how the neighbor upstairs is keeping you up with their 99 cent store music; the retro trance music. Then you can easily go to Facebook and chat to your friends or turn your stalker mode on and just stare at the pictures of people in high definition. You quickly turn on Pandora or use Netflix to watch a late night horror that will scar you. Every five minutes you switch between Netflix and Twitter to rant on how you are about to pee in your pants. This would become the norm with a Sony Internet TV.
